The hosts are very friendly, helpful and gave us a warm welcome. The rooms were very clean and had individual bathrooms. There was plenty of space, also for parking. The breakfast was complete and delicious.
A very good location to explore the area. We also drove to the west coast around Galway and Connemara.
Thank you for the nice stay!

Location was great. Room was really good.
Eduardo at the reception was really kind and helped us very much.
Loved Ballinasloe. Perfect little town. My Mother's family lived nearby years ago and descendants still in area. For us perfect and lucky with the weather too. Gullanes hotel the very best to get the most of hospitality in the area and hear those amazing local people in town. It is also central.Would recommend to anyone looking for traditional Irish hospitality and welcome.

Ballinasloe in itself is a small town, it took us an afternoon to walk around, visit the different shops, the marina and the three churches. It's very pleasant and the locals are friendly. On the Friday we left there was a indoor market by the cinema selling handmade items from buns to marmalade to baby gifts. Ballinasloe is 30 mins from Athlone and 45 mins from Galway by train, handy spot!

Not a lot do at night. We spent most of the next day in Galway Salthill and Barna, as the evening event I was meant to attend on the Sunday was cancelled. Restaurant in the hotel was very good and very accommodating too.

No tourist town but a working village.
No tourist town but a working village. Access to the rivers for fishing, lots of good restaurants and pubs, hardly any tourists. Watch out for October unless you wish to see the biggest and oldest horse fair in Europe. Centrally located beside the M6. It is a 35 minute bus ride to Galway and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. The Galway bus is a great way to see the countryside and visit Galway without driving yourself.
Lovely, super likeable Irish couple, they make you feel like you are at home, they offered me sandwiches and tea just after arriving and I had a meeting next day a bit far so they went far far ahead of what was expected in a hotel to indicate me best way to get there.
breakfast was delicious and I highly recommend anyone to stay with them, they enjoy having clients with them, cant recommend enough my stay, i also owe them an email to enjoy Barcelona next November, my hometown :)
It is a lovely location that over looks the water and boats the staff are very nice and friendly the food is lovely too and the rooms are beautiful I really like this hotel and would recommend to anyone and can't wait to stay again sometime
