Davitts is a modern, comfortable guest house in the centre of Kenmare Town. It has a free internet hotspot and free on-site parking. Davitts bar and restaurant has an Art Deco theme and serves food all day and is a favourite with locals. The bar has a large stone fireplace and serves Irish dishes. The rooms are situated at the rear of the building, away from the noise. Each is en suite and has satellite TV. Kenmare is a great base for exploring the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.

Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.8 for a two-person trip.

  • Hi, do you have on site parking? Information on this Site is conflicting. We are carrying bikes on the back of our car and need to park nearby.

    We had to extend our beer garden into our parking so very limited. People are parking in the side roads. Sorry about this.

  • Hi, will the bar be open to guests? if yes, are there time limits etc?

    It all depends of the Covid Levels. if In level 3 its is food with drink. We do not have a residents bar. What tome of the year are you looking at. As it looks like we will not be allowed open until end of Feb

Davitts is a family run business in the heart of Kenmare Town. We have very friendly & efficient staff & love to tell people what to see & what to do in the Area.

Neighbourhood information

Davitts is situated in the town centre so in a great location for visiting Shops & Restaurants. We are a short walk to the harbour which has a sightseeing boat - Seafari going out everday to see the Seals & the beautiful Coastline. We are also a short walk to Kenmare Golf Course. Their are lots of things to do in Kenmare- Star Sailing has many amenities & fun for kids & adults- Kayaking, Archery, sailing etc & also have a Summer Camp for kids. Riding Stables nearby. Kenmare is a great base for touring - The Beara Peninsula & The Ring of Kerry plus endless walking routes. Kenmare has it all for a great holiday.
