The location was great. It was good walking distance to shops and restaurants (we love Juu Juu Ramen--a real hidden gem) and it was easy to get around. The room itself was nice and it was always made up clean and comfortable each day. The staff were all great and we really liked the complimentary snacks every few days! The breakfast is amazing and we always looked forward to it each morning!

Surabaya is an amazing city! Unlike Jakarta, it has much less traffic, making it a more pleasant place to navigate. The working lifestyle here is peaceful and unhurried, allowing you to truly enjoy the rhythm of daily life. It's a fantastic destination for travelers, with an abundance of delicious food to explore. I highly recommend visiting Surabaya – you won't be disappointed!

We went to Bromo and Ijen. Ijen was very hard work, but truly out of this world experience.

The city welcomed me with open arms, and I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth and friendliness of its people. From locals offering assistance with directions to striking up conversations about the city's rich heritage, every encounter left a positive impression.
My recent stay at Ibis Surabaya Tidar was quite pleasant overall. The hotel's central location was undoubtedly one of its biggest assets, making it easy to access various attractions and amenities in Surabaya. Additionally, their commitment to sustainability by offering refills for water in glass jugs instead of plastic bottles was commendable and appreciated. The food quality was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the Vegetarian and Amante di Carne Pizza, which was truly delightful.

Wonderful staff: friendly, helpful and professional. Excellent view of the city from our room! Cosy room and nice toiletries.
The building is part of the history of Surabaya. Entering the door we went back to the colonial period, nothing to do with the traffic outside. The room was big, clean and quiet. Amazing breakfast Indonesian and european
