He provided us with medical certificates (which we didn’t know we needed), gave us free gas masks and even arranged for one of his friends to buy us the tickets when we arrived at mt ljen. Room was very clean, comfortable and AC worked great. Very cool location that has way more of a local feel!

A classy hotel in every right. Unaware of the historical significance of this institution, I booked it as a treat to end an adventurous trip around East Java. My oh my! Wasn't this a treat indeed? Excellent location, supreme service and above it all, an incredible country's culture in display in every nook and corner. We tried the Maj as well. Bartending and service at its finest. Enjoyed the live music thoroughly. Really wished if people wouldn't smoke inside the bar, but we'll what can you do? Had fun regardless..

Everything about our stay at Snooze was fantastic. The entire hostel is super clean and tidy, the shared toilets and showers were constantly cleaned and maintained, and the staff are very friendly - they even sent us a huge list on WhatsApp of recommended restaurants nearby! Upon arrival they helped us arrange a tour for the sunrise hike up Mount Ijen and this went really smoothly - one of our best excursions throughout our 8 months of travelling Southeast Asia. Definitely stay here if you're visiting East Java!!

This hotel is everything i ever wanted for a stay. Warm water, a very comfortable bed and the nicest host on earth. He helped us so much with everything(Especially with the tour to Ijen). He cooks a delicious breakfast and is generally a very happy funny and relaxed guy. The area is a little bit out of town but because of that its quiet and its the perfect location for visiting Ijen or using it as a base to travel trough east java.

Great hostel, good location, 5 min walk to train station, close walk to rainbow village and the lesser know Arema blue village. tours available, very kind friendly staff, free coffee, the beans are grown here in East Java… spacious dorm with secure lockers. comfortable beds with light and power point for charging. everything you need and it’s cheap. I will come back for sure if I return to Malang

This was our second snooze hotel in Java and we were very happy with the snooze in Malang, it met all our needs and was in a great location. The staff were also very friendly and helpful in organizing a driver for our trip in east java. They were communicative before we arrived and when we were there which helped so much! Recommend Snooze for your stay in Malang and we’d definitely stay again!
Sukobumi
This is an amazing place, and the host Budi is an incredibly interesting and hospitable guy, with an erudite understanding of Indonesian history. Also Probolinggo is not only a transit hub to Bromo, the city itself is also a vivid and cordial East Java town. If you come in winter, it's really worthy to go to Bentar Beach and try your luck to see if you can spot the whale sharks.

Great place, extremely helpful and friendly owner who organised all our activities for us in East Java. And all worked out perfectly, adapting to our interests and timings. Very special place, and we recommend it highly. The guides and drivers were super. The hotel is charming, clean, the food excellent.

Good accommodation, so much better than they discript themself. Beds are okay, toilet and shower alright Nice stuff :) Places to chill and relax. You can socialize very well because everybody is doing the East Java tour and talk about it :D You can also book it with the hostel, nice stuff :)
The location is good and near to the meeting place and/or office that I visited during the business trip. The parking lot is huge, and the staffs are kind and fast response. Definitely will stay again in this hotel on the next business trip to Banyuwangi, East Java. Well done!

It was in a great location not far from Gubeng train station
The staff was great, always kind and helpful when I had questions or wanted information. Checkin and checkout were quick and easy. My room had all of the amenities I wanted and was larger than most rooms in similar hotels.

Location was excellent. It's close to places that we wanted to visit and was able to get grab fairly easily. Staff was also excellent and very helpful.

Very nice view from the hotel, facing Arjuna mountain, breakfast spread was fantastic, staff members were at their best: polite, helpful and accommodating. Hotel facilities were nice and adequate - spread on large area, so a bit of walking from the room to the other place. Room were spacious, minimal but functional. Rooftop cafe was nice, with nice view.
The exceptional localization of the hotel between many hills: it is magic place to stay. We appreciated the variety of possible activities. The niceness of staff and the dedicated involvement of Jonathan the manager: chatting with the guests, taking pictures, giving advice. We booked the campervan dinner which as a magical time and we also visited the sunset hill of the hotel. We had a pleasant afternoon with the cooking and jam lessons chatting with the staff after Bromo tour in the morning.
The resort is very asethetic! The place is design as if you are in Kyoto. A lot of photo spots. Breakfast has sushi as well and the room we stayed has an onsen area.
