Outside, relax in our secluded garden, complete with a marble dining table and comfortable seating area, perfect for enjoying peaceful moments. Hello! My name is Manolis Sofikitis. I come from Skopelos, where I grew up, and yes(!) I had a pretty amazing childhood growing up here! My family, my parents and siblings, are involved with tourism since I can remember! So even though, I got my degree as an Electrical Engineer from Chania, Crete, I decided to return to Skopelos and do what I always loved to, hosting people from all over the world and helping them get the best out of their vacations. I try to spend as much time as possible in Skopelos countryside, mountains and beaches and to explore the abundant hidden surprises of nature. Either by bicycle, by foot, by boat or even by car there are so many amazing places to discover around the island. I like listening and playing music. I am experimenting with piano, trumpet and mpouzouki (the most popular traditional Greek music instrument), and lucky me (and you!) we have a long tradition of Rembetiko (folklore Greek) music in Skopelos, which you can enjoy in many taverns and in lots of genres.
Situated in a quiet neighborhood, our house offers the peace and relaxation you crave, yet is just a short stroll (100 meters) from the lively village center. Wander through the charming alleys, explore the local shops, and indulge in the is-land’s culinary delights at nearby tavernas and cafes. The village of Skopelos is known for its rich history, picturesque architecture, and vibrant cultural scene, making it a captivating destination for unique culture seekers! You'll find yourself immersed in the rich history and culture of Skopelos, with an old Byzantine church just a stone's throw away, adding a touch of historical charm to your stay.
