This quiet country house is set in the south west of Scotland, in The Rhins area of Stranraer, specializing in fresh locally sourced Scottish food. A former manse with its own grounds, Torrs Warren Country House Hotel is a family-run business that is ideally placed for exploring The Rhins area with its golf clubs, gardens and walks. Property info

This building is the old manse of the village of Stoneykirk. It was built in 1790 of solid 1 metre thick walls placed onto boulders in the ground. It sits in its own grounds of 2.75 acres.

Neighborhood info

The area around the hotel is a rural setting with no traffic jams or rush hours. there is 1 miles of sandy beach nearby that is both safe for children when the tide is out gives them 400yards width to beach to play. Nearby within 15 minutes of the hotel are 5 major gardens, all of which are open to the public.The most famous being Logan Botanical Gardens. If you are a golf fan then we have four local courses two of which are tiger rated.We can pre-book your rounds if required. I do recommend a trip into Stranraer to visit the Castle in the centre of town for the views it gives from the top of the whole of Stranraer. It is also free entry. I hope this helps
