Located in Durham, The Garden Rooms at Lonton has a recently renovated accommodation 16 km from Bowes Museum. This holiday home features a private pool, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the holiday home's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The holiday home is equipped with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with garden views. A private entrance leads guests into the holiday home, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and fruits. The accommodation is non-smoking. Lime Kilns Farm has been our home or nearly twenty years and also home of our family business, Lonton Coffee Company. Our artisan coffee roastery was founded here fourteen years ago. As you’d expect freshly roasted coffee will be a plenty in The Garden Rooms at Lonton.

Luna is a bespoke built luxury Shepherd's hut with spacious, private, south facing walled gardens. Inside expect luxurious modern interiors with super comfy Hypnos mattress, king size bed, Egyptian cotton sheets, turntable, radio, TV and a Copper Bath Tub. There is a well equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer compartment, convection microwave and gas hob. The bathroom has a bath tub with over bath shower, toilet, complimentary toiletries, fluffy towels and robes. There is underfloor heating and an additional radiator in the bathroom for drying towels. We supply all bedding, extra comfy blankets and guest slippers. We also provide 2 pairs of wellies in case you forget yours. Outdoors - the mature gardens are private and well maintained. Luna has an extra special Victorian style gazebo which houses a telescope and a small sofa - a beautiful spot to relax in the late evening. Luna also has a terrace area with comfy outdoor chairs and a large fire pit with a grilling platform. Logs will be provided for your stay. The Garden Rooms provide free parking and the entrance is a few metres from the car park. Luna & Flora have separate doors to their gardens and complete privacy.

The Garden Rooms are located within the grounds of our converted farm house at Lime Kilns Farm, in the tiny hamlet of Lonton. We are equidistant between two beautiful villages: Middleton in Teesdale, where you’ll find a local butcher, antique shop, pubs, a delicatesen, cafes, a pharmacy, fuel station and a late night Co-op grocery store. Mickleton is also just one mile away under the magnificent via-duct by car or a short walk along the disused railway track and also has two excellent pubs. A perfect location to explore the treasures of Upper Teesdale with it’s stunning walks, scenery and waterfalls. Visit Barnard Castle, a bustling market town with a superb offering of antique shops, bakers and eateries - just nine miles from Lonton. Explore the riverbank and woodland walks near to the castle or The Bowes Museum which houses internationally significant collections of fine and decorative arts and also holds several exhibitions throughout the year. Raby Castle is just a few miles away and is a stunning location with it's beautiful gardens and wild deer.
