Gwynfyd means 'Bliss' in Welsh, and we hope that this beautiful site on an organic working farm will fill you full of peace and happiness. Our accommodation is made up of a Bell Tent, with one double and two single beds (a crib is also available on request) where guests can sleep and relax. We then have a converted Shepherd's Hut which has a cosy kitchen with a fridge, cooker, hob and sink as well as some bench seating, and also in the shepherd's hut is a large walk in shower and sink. There is a composting loo sited a little way away from the tent and shepherd's hut. The site has a picnic bench seating and eating area, with a barbecue/fire pit for outdoor cooking. Firewood is available on request, if you need it. There is a firepit at the site for evening fires. Public transport is not available to site but we have a local taxi service happy to transport guests to and from the farm. The whole area has the most wonderful mountain views, and the sunsets are spectacular. We are sited on the Sugarloaf Mountain and the area is perfect for walkers, cyclists, artists, families - anyone who needs some peace and quiet! Unfortunately we do not let dogs stay in Gwynfyd, but we do have other dog-friendly holiday accommodation at the farm - please ask Clare for more details.

The local area is beautiful and provides easy access to many walks and cycling routes. There is also the nearby town of Abergavenny with it's Food Festival, regular markets, the Castle, Museum, shops and a great range of restaurants and pubs.
