Glastonbury Rose Cottage is special! It has a boutique charm, decorated with lots of detail, and has a warm and homely 'feeling' with many added extras. It's a Victorian end of terrace cottage located in town centre on St. Benedict's Close...formerly 'Grope Lane' in a bygone era! In Glastonbury Rose, you definitely feel as if you have landed in another time, behind the veils in ancient Avalon...with touches of Medieval, Faerie, and Angel...Glastonbury Rose still remains tasteful and absolutely delightful! There's a great view of the Tor from the double room, and St. Benedict's Church from the twin. You will find a welcome package consisting of tea/coffee/biscuits/milk/bread/eggs/butter/jam. This will start your trip without having to shop first thing! Please call or text about 1/2 hour before arrival and one of us will meet you there to show you around, give keys, and advise on where to park.
We are a Sagittarius American woman, and Gemini Irish male, married for almost twenty years (can hardly believe it ourselves!). We have millenial Gemini daughter. We run a sacred site tour company arranging bespoke holidays to sacred sites...transforming travel. John is also a psychic and healer. Together we've written a book 'Hidden In Plain Sight...A Journey of Ascension' available on Amazon. Bottom line, we are 'people' people, and really look forward to hosting you, and helping to make your stay special. *We can provide transport to and from airport/train/bus stations as well.
What to say about Glastonbury! It is everything you expect of it and more! You get what you come for...synchronicity, chance meetings, friendly locals, along with lots of eccentric characters, and unique shops. People love it, and most always want to return. Whether your seeking a relaxing break with friends, a romantic weekend with a partner, a healing journey of transformation....you'll find it all here. Lots and lots of workshops, and places to explore. I kid you not, this land is blessed. And if you are looking for some 'normal' nearby, the beautiful cathedral city of Wells and great outlet shopping in Street, are both just short bus/car rides away. FYI Glastonbury Rose is located conveniently for all shops/restaurants/workshops, and the seasonal bus in front of the abbey which will shuttle you to the foot of the tor/Chalice Well if you don't want to take the 15/20 minute walk there. It is a stones throw from the Goddess Hall and St.Benedict's Church.
