Drumgauty Cottage is a recently updated comfortable farm property. Situated conveniently 6 miles from Strabane and Derry/Londonderry city on main A5 Road. We have close by bus stops & taxis are available upon request. It lies between the beautiful Sollus Hill and the picturesque River Foyle. An ideal base to explore many significant landmarks including the Derry Walls, Peace Bridge, and the beautiful North Coast with its first-class beaches and Giants Causeway, Donegal with its rugged coastline. A central base for Fermanagh lakes and the Sperrin walks.
I have wanted for some time to provide guest accommodation., however, it has only been made possible recently. I traveled lots in my single years and have stayed in many accommodations in many counties. I aim to use my experience to develop our cottage to provide the type of place I am happy to lay down my head for the night. My goal is to provide a clean, comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, away from the buzz of every day, a home away from home. I hope you have this experience if you choose to stay with us.
We are set in a rural farming area. Farming cattle and sheep mostly and growing crops including maize and potatoes. We are only a short distance from the Foyle River and beautiful views of Donegal beyond.
