The property was beautiful and staff is friendly and attentive. We dealt mostly with Stephanie and Patrick and they were outstanding! I would highly recommend this property. Also, the restaurant is amazing! We were in a store and asked where to eat lunch and they sent us to Bishops Gate.
With an award-winning restaurant and recreation center, this 4-star, family-run hotel also has free parking and free Wi-Fi.

Nice facility out of the city. Lobby and halls were a little worn but room was beautiful. Room was comfortable and clean.
Stayed in a suite so we would have extra room and they left a lovely tray of goodies.

We loved DERRY. The people were so open and friendly and positive about the future.
We were struck how they were working on restorative justice for their people who had gone through The Troubles and there didn't appear to be any open hostility towards those who had caused them harm.
They have a great sense of humour and a way of looking at life that is genuinely funny, endearing and engaging.

Derry is a beautiful city and so easy to walk around and lots to do and see.
The Tower museum is a very inexpensive place to visit, especially if you like the Derry Girls. The Guild Hall is free to enter and a beautiful building. The city walls are also a must walk.

Friendly people and good food.
Friendly people and good food. We ate at Hillbilly's and were surprised by the wide menu and nice setup, more than a takeaway, though not too expensive. What we loved most in Derry was Columb's Park across the river- massive parkland, ancient trees, flowers and a lovely cafe. Recommended!

For. Someone like me (76) retired, lived and worked in Belfast all my life with exception of first three years after Uni but through 30+ years of what is locally known as the troubles visiting Derry-londonderry today is an eye opener. The revitalisation of the walled City, the beauty of the two counties beside it is only bettered by the friendliness of its people. It’s a must go to place and the music scene is legenderry.

Despite an often troubled (and violent) past, L.Derry, felt a very safe and welcoming place, unlike Belfast where there is still an underlying feeling of tension. We did a walking tour of the Bogside (Bloody Sunday) which was informative, reflective and thought-provocating. We then walked the walls where there is intermittent signage to explain the significance and history.
There is a fairly large shopping centre, although we just passed through this briefly.
We had a lovely meal in The Black Bird pub just up from the Guild Hall which is worth a visit too
