Llangorse Lake is nearby with water skiing and sailing and the Activity Centre provides opportunity for pony treking, rock climbing and is the site of the unique SkyTrek. Llangynidr is situated midway between Abergavenny and Brecon. 4 miles from Crickhowell and 6 miles from the heads of the valley road, (A465). It is a very picturesque village on the River Usk, deep in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is ideal for a stroll along the towpath whilst a more demanding walk takes a route through the village onto the mountain
