Company info

We are a family of 4 who live in the adjacent flint thatched farmhouse. We have been welcoming guests to our 6 cottages, all converted from old farm buildings, since 2006. The cottages are all set around the old farmyard within 8 acres of forest and pasture which guests are free to explore.

Property info

Briarwood is a two bedroomed barn conversion cottage set around an old farmyard. It has vaulted beamed ceilings and laminate wood flooring, with ramp access to the front door and is all on one level. The cottage two bedrooms, one double and one twin, sleeping up to 4 people. There is also space for a cot. The lounge has two sofas, dinning table and chairs. The kitchen if fully equipped with crockery and cutlery and also has a dishwasher. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Outside there is an enclosed decked area with patio furniture and a BBQ is available on request. The cottage has full central heating, TV, DVD player CD and radio, with free WiFi. Pets allowed by arrangement.

Briarwood cottage is part of Thorpewood Cottages, located in Thorpe Market village. The village is 5 miles south of Cromer set in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside. This gives easy access to both the Norfolk coast with its stunning beaches and The Broads National Park. Also close by are the National Trust properties of Blickling, Felbrigg and Sheringham Park which are all worth a visit. For our younger guests BeWilderwood and Roar! Dinosaur Park are both within a 30 minute drive. Fishing, golf, leisure centres, Bure Valley Railway, theatres, cycling and Norwich are just a few of the attractions which are available close by.
