This unique family-friendly Georgian cottage, located in the very heart of Oakham. Quiet location, set within a secluded red brick walled garden next to Oakham Castle, and All Saints Church. You will have full use of the property and private garden with summer house, outside seating and dining areas. Facilities include king and double beds, plus a double sofa bed in a second sitting room leading off the main bedroom. Bathroom with shower, kitchen, lounge, dining room & toilet/utility.
The Cottage is self-check in. Both Ruth and Mark are contactable by mobile phone and email during your stay. Access to the property is provided by gate key code and front door key.
The property is located within a conservation area, in the heart of the rural market town of Oakham with local shops, weekly market, pubs & restaurants all on the doorstep. Next door to Oakham Castle, Oakham School & All Saints Church and close to Rutland Water with it's beach, cycling, sailing, hiking & fishing. Local towns include historic Stamford with Burghley House, Uppingham & Market Harborough. Local train station within walking distance with links to London, Birmingham, Cambridge. Local buses, taxis and cycling. Paid parking provided for one private car. Lots of storage space at the property for bikes etc.
