Would love to come back to the hotel next time I am in Bordeaux. The service at the hotel was wonderful, all of the staff were very professional and friendly, and were happy to help us book restaurants, etc. The individual room I was in was very nicely and thoughtfully appointed. We appreciated the fullsize Nuxe toiletries (no need to bring shampoo/cream/shower gel/handwash if you like the Nuxe brand) and that the minibar was included in the price of the room and included multiple bottles of water/nonalcoholic drinks/snacks/fresh fruit, which is incredibly convenient when you arrive after long travel. It was also really nice to have a heated outdoor pool with towels provided, etc. The breakfast was delicious and good quality.
The hotel location was great, only about 10-15 min walk to the main shopping street. The hotel itself is tucked away in a close by residential area and it's very quiet. However, it is not in the immediate center, so if you have mobility issues, or you easily get tired walking, you might want to think about this. Also, some of the duplex suites in the second building have stairs so you might want to request a ground floor suite. The main hotel building has a lift all the way to the street level.

It is a very tourist-friendly city. The Metro tram system is excellent, easy to use and inexpensive. There are lots of things to do. The Bordeaux CityPass is a must and gives access to many places of interest. It is excellent value - I think we would have paid double or even treble the amount if we had paid individually for each site.

Great transport system that really is well integrated with all live details available online. Great, classic architecture. Many superb restaurants.
Top visit has to be the Submarine Base. The Les Bassins des Lumières show is simply spectacular! Take Tram C to Place Ravezies and Bus 9 for just two stops. 10 minute walk, unlike the 30+ minutes from the Cite du Vin.

Bordeaux is a city worth visiting. In 3 days we enjoyed La Cite du Vin, Musee Mer Marine, Musee des Beaux-Arts. For shopping Galeries LaFayette was our first choice.
While in La Cite du Vin, do not forget to try the simulated raisin crushing experience.
One dining suggestion is L'Entrecote near Opera National, be there at least 1 hour before opening time, 12:00 or 19:00. Otherwise you will miss the first serving.

The hotel is in the perfect location to explore Bordeaux. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the square and theatre, which was a great private space to relax. There was an excellent selection at breakfast each morning. The staff were all welcoming and helpful especially the concierge team. It was great to have a small swimming pool and sauna available in a city centre hotel.
this is super great apartment! the best that we've ever rented in France so far. It exceeded our expectations. and it was firs apartment where there was no this feeling that host is trying to save on you: there was good quality soap, breakfast included, bed sheets and towels were white and clean.
Did not have breakfast as only stayed 1 night. Super clean budget Hotel offering comfortable room in an area of Bordeaux that is being improved. Lovely funky type room with clean bathroom. Better than more traditional more expensive Hotels I stayed in in France this trip.
Amazing stay in Bordeaux, the best accomodation in our 2.5 week stay over 5 cities in France. We love everything from the stylish and open space, rooms as well as the welcoming hosts. Highly recommended, and will definitely be back next time we are in Bordeaux.
