Room was comfortable and quiet. Whilst it's located a little from the central tourist area of the city, tram and bus services are very close by. One meal in the restaurant was excellent. We did not have breakfast at the hotel.

Raise your wine glass and toast to the beautiful city of Bordeaux on the banks of the Garonne River. Having produced wine since the 8th century, it’s fair to say the second largest wine producer in the world is worth the trip for the vin alone. The city itself has spread outwards, rather than upwards, and the result is a very pretty town centre, filled with stone mansions and terraced housing comparable to Paris.
Cultured Bordeaux is filled with museums such as the Museum of Contemporary Art and Musee D'Aquitaine. The streets provide an equally interesting exhibition of fine architecture including the Victory Arch and the Aquitaine Bridge.
On the shores of the river lies the Les Chartrons district, which is a blend of ferry boat rides, picturesque views and buzzing nightlife while the pubs and cafes in the La Victoire district are frequented by students.
A tour of the famous vineyards is probably on the itinerary and this can be accomplished by visiting the wineries and châteaux privately or as part of a tour. You can also worship the wine gods at the Bordeaux Wine Festival held during the summer.
Visitors can easily make the short trip to the heart of Bordeaux from the Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport. With 70 hotels and bed & breakfasts available, Booking.com allows you to discover the vibrant and friendly heart of the vineyard region.

Stunning architecture, beautiful pedestrian only areas in the main downtown. Easily walkable. Gorgeous public garden. Bus tour that gave an overview to the city was just right in terms of length and detail. Numerous charming shops and cafes. We also enjoyed the art museum.

YOU HAVE MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE WHICH YOU NEED TO CORRECT ASAP. I just reviewed the Ibis Hotel Bordeaux and you included it in THE WRONG IBIS LISTING FOR BRUSSELS....I enjoyed that hotel very much. Your AI link or robot mixed up my bad review for Bordeaux and put it on the Brussels listing. THIS IS WRONG AND MUST BE FIXED.

This city is a gourmet's delight.
This city is a gourmet's delight. The wine museum is definitely worth a visit (allow 3 to 4 hours, there's more in there than you would think). Public transport is excellent with frequent trams to all the places of interest.

We stayed in the heart of the city and there is so much to explore. Round every corner there seemed to be yet another square or narrow street, lined with cafes and restaurants. A visit to an art gallery was worthwhile. Good transport from the airport and around the city via trams. We didn't plan to do very much apart from wander around, explore and eat out. Deux Pieces Cuisine restaurant was very good. Worked perfectly for us although there are many more things you could do: take wine, food and city tours. Watch out for the crazy traffic / cycle / e-scooters. Green crossing signs don't always mean it's safe to cross! Never saw and accident but if you don't know how it works then it could be tricky. Everyone seemed very relaxed though, not a high pressure, stressy city.

A fascinating city packed with interesting places to see.
A fascinating city packed with interesting places to see. A wonderful place for immersing in rich cultural and architectural history as well as for experiencing vibrant shopping areas, and many enticing restaurants and bars that burst out into a colourful and dynamic city street life. Wine of course is a key ingredient and the local beers too deserve an honourable mention. The tram service is a fantastic asset for the city - it is convenient, efficient and so simple to use
Nice hotel - perfect for a couple of night's in Bordeaux. Whilst the hotel isn't anything special on the outside, the bar and restaurant area looked more contemporary. The food in the restaurant was good, with options for both kids and vegetarians. Our kids particularly enjoyed the games area, with chess, and Xbox and table football, as well as the pool! Convenient location for travel by tram into the city centre, and very useful to have a hotel with parking.
Beautiful boutique-style hotel with a great staff! Our overnight in Bordeaux was just meant as a stopover but we enjoyed the city and Hotel Singulier so much we definitely plan to go back. The location allows for an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and historical sites. We found a terrific outdoor market while strolling along the river. The room was clean and comfortable. Capucine was a wonderful host and makes a delicious breakfast bread too!
The hotel offered a well-priced room very close to the Bordeaux train station. For those, like us, with a bit too much luggage, that proximity to the station was priceless. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel harbors features that suggest it was a very elegant palace some years ago. It is now more utilitarian, but it still has all the features one needs when in Bordeaux, with close proximity to the central old town as well.
Marie's place was beautiful and she was super thoughtful. She even let me charge my EV in her garage as I had so many problems charging it in France. The hotel was incredible intimate and carefully considered. She's extremely friendly and helpful. I've stayed at many B&B in France and loved her place. Location was a lovely residential neighborhood and about 20 minutes walk to city center. Definitely staying here when I am back in Bordeaux!
Villas Foch is a fabulous boutique hotel in a great location...quiet, yet close to everything in Bordeaux. We walked to town, to the river and to Cite du Vin. Very accommodating staff and excellent service. The bar was well appointed and comfortable for our nightcaps. Breakfast was tremendous, but there are cafe's next door if it's just for coffee. Great base for exploring all the wineries of Bordeaux. Highly recommended
The hotel seems brand new and it is very clean. There are toiletries at reception and you can help yourself to shampoo, lotion, and soap which is really nice. The hotel is about 40 minutes walk from the city center which is fine for those who don't mind walking and there is also plenty of buses and trams to get you there. The hotel is very close to the main train station in Bordeaux. Staff are very nice.
Lovely hotel enjoyed location it was easy to go out from there.
The staff when arrived were great but the lady when was leaving was very hard to understand.
I loved pool was surprised that we had to pay for parking as wasn’t mentioned upon arrival.
Also think it’s unfair paying tourist tax when I am a resident in France and already pay my taxes. My daughter is french she never pays it in Bordeaux!
Room was clean, the location is easy to get to by public transport from the airport and you can easily walk into the city centre. There is a bus stop right in front of the building and a supermarket a couple of minutes of walk away. Staff speaks English and was friendly at the check-in. The kitchenette was very sparsely equipped but was sufficient for a short-term stay.
THE PLACE TO STAY IN BORDEAUX!!! Felt as if we were in a castle. Beautiful property. Luxurious and spacious room. Quiet street in the center of Bordeaux that shielded is from any noise. The staff is what makes the Yndo Hotel most memorable. We were treated like family and had EVERY request attended to. Cannot wait to visit again and stay on this beautiful property!
It's a wonderful little old-school Hotel in the City Center of Bordeaux. It really feels nice to get a real key to open your room! It's located just a few meters away from the shops and restaurants, but the street of the hotel is very quiet. I haven't stayed in a property like this in ages, and at an amazing value. The "petit dejouner" was good enough.
A very comfortable boutique hotel located a few metres from the main Square. Easy walking distance to many sights, cafes, restaurants, and a major tram interchange. The rooms were very well equipped, comfortable and spacious. The staff were very helpful. Also - a rarity in France - excellent showers. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Handy parking right next to the hotel in a secure car park (note an additional fee for this). Good value for money and nice hotel bar that we had a drink in one evening. The staff were very friendly and full of recommendations of where to visit in Bordeaux. There was a fitness centre which we didn't visit but a nice addition for some.
Funky hotel. Young, laid back, modern, graffiti style. Location is in a newly built hotel area on the port, next to the City du Vin (slightly off city centre). Small, but comfortable rooms. Comfortable bed. Ok breakfast. Eventually fun atmosphere.
Parking is round the corner (15 EUR / day is actually cheap for Bordeaux).
It was just what we needed for a short trip in France. We wanted s hotel near de train station, to go to Arcachon and LA Rochelle. We were two people. The room was a bit small, but enough for us. Very kind staff and a very good breakfast.
Very nice comfortable hotel in the ‘new’ heart of Bordeaux, just on the other side of the river from the city centre. A nice 10 min walk will get you in the heart of Bordeaux.
overall the hotel is good. The staff are the absolutely the best asset of the hotel, they are very helpful and friendly other than that I dont know why the hotel is a 5 star
The hotel is well located, on the opposite side of Garonne river than the city centre. The heart of Bordeaux is only 15 minutes walk. The room is ok and the price was fair.
great location next to the great food, wine, beer and music emporium at Bordeaux Centre. Walking distance to tram and city Centre. Great buffet breakfast.
