This apartment is located near the Medinet Habu temple, as well as various other historical sites. It is a furnished three-bedroom apartment (only two bedrooms are furnished) complete with cookware, stove, oven, refrigerator. When you walk out onto your balcony, you will see green plantations and palm trees against a backdrop of impressive desert mountains. Due to the low population of the area and the distance from major roads, nights are very tranquil and silent.

The apartment is situated in a small village close to the temple Medinet Habu and also near the desert and the mountains. It has two bedrooms (each with their own balcony), a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room. Some notable nearby sightseeing places within walking/biking distance include the Coptic Church Monastery, Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, Hatcheshups Temple. In this village it's mostly Egyptian people, so you will get close to the authentic "village-life" if you want. The Nile and the tourist areas are still only a few minutes away. You will find a shop for groceries and vegetables on the same street as the flat and the host can also bring food or meals to your flat upon request. There are also a few restaurants and cafés in front of the Medinet Habu temple. You can get around by bicycle (50 EGP/day to rent) or by taxi (max 45 EGP to the Nile). Horse, camel, and donkey rides can also be arranged. To cross the Nile from Luxor, you can use the public ferry (5 EGP) or take a private motorboat across the Nile (around 20 EGP per person).
