Punta Cana people are very friendly and seem to appreciate the tourist. Resorts in Punta Cana are worth the value spent. You can't go wrong planning a trip there. We are planning our next trip already and we just returned from there. The Saona Island excursion is defiantly a must. Saona island is what a tropical vacation is all about.

This is a great resort.
This is a great resort. The food is outstanding and the location is beautiful. We had 5 nights and it was just the right amount of time for us. We ate at all the restaurants and had tried out all the bars.
We felt very safe within the Hotel compound.
The water park was fun.
We took our two 20 year old sons and they really enjoyed it but limited activities for that age group. No night club - only one bar open after 11pm.
But we had a lot of fun and would love to go back. The beach is gorgeous and the swim up bars are fun.
The best thing is it is all free once you are there -would recommend getting Club status.
And don't forget to visit the Martini Bar - they make awesome cocktails.

Punta Cana was a great trip enjoyed the beaches and the view. The only that was a problem I brought my wife to Riu Republicia expectin the usual Riu service and got the opposite. The air condition was not working properly had to call to the room over 5 times. Didn't have body wash cloths and the toilet kept not flushing and water would not work. The employees where not friendly and displayed they just wanted to work and get paid.

My only complaint is that there are not enough hooks in the room, especially when there are more than 2 people. Also, there should be a shower matt since it was very slippery.

When we eventually were able to sort out accomodation we had the best time! We could have stayed longer. You just have to be careful of costs as the locals tend to add additional tax where possible. Beautiful country, beach, palm trees, sun - just gorgeous! Would recommend Poppi Express for getting around if you need transport.

The Live Aqua Beach Resort is the perfect place to spend
a relaxing vacation in Punta Cana. It is not like a typical
all inclusive hotel since the food is a la carte. I‘ve never had
such good food in an all inclusive resort.
The resort itself is just beautiful - very clean, chill and
directly at the beach. The staff is awesome - they are so
friendly and treat you like their favourite guest - every
day. We‘ll definitely come back.
The reception was great! He helped us on so many topics and requests. We had very pleasant time on the big terrace, watching the sunset. The room is large and like on the photo. We can recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to visit Punta Cana on budget.
