Very cool, basic hotel just 50m from the beach. A small passage just opposite the alley leads to a cozy beach bar serving great food and drinks, as well as breakfast. There are lounge chairs too, and the ocean is right in front of you. On the bar's roof top you can relax while having a massage. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I had an excellent stay at the Green Coast Beach Hotel in Punta Cana.

They gave me a different room because the door lock was broken on my 1st room, I liked the AC that was fantastic, the TV did not work and the wifi was shitty, but it has a certain charm to it. Oh and the food probably gave me diarrhea, but at least it was cheap.

I liked Punta Cana. I rented a car the entire time, and the thing I didn't like about THAT was the speed bumps randomly placed on main roads..... you hit a LOT of speed bumps.......or traffic slows down to a halt to go over them as to not bottom out the car. The speed bumps in Punta Cana are terrible.........period. And there are a lot of hawkers trying to sell you stuff on the street.

Most of the place is owned by big hotel chains.
Most of the place is owned by big hotel chains. If you are not staying in one of those it might become complicated to explore the entire place and enjoy the beautiful beaches. Additionally, they have an issue with the water, which is mostly from underground sources and salty. Be prepared to bring bottled water to this destination.

The color and the warm temperature of the beach is great. Take the party boat and enjoy it, I got my tickets by the flamingos tiki bar for only $40 dólares the yate was one of the best compare with a bunch of others. Also try to spend a day in Samana is amazing, try to get the tour in the same place. If you are looking for Dominican food try delicias is about 5 minutes of the tropicana hotel and super affordable.

Punta Cana people are very friendly and seem to appreciate the tourist. Resorts in Punta Cana are worth the value spent. You can't go wrong planning a trip there. We are planning our next trip already and we just returned from there. The Saona Island excursion is defiantly a must. Saona island is what a tropical vacation is all about.

This is a great resort.
This is a great resort. The food is outstanding and the location is beautiful. We had 5 nights and it was just the right amount of time for us. We ate at all the restaurants and had tried out all the bars.
We felt very safe within the Hotel compound.
The water park was fun.
We took our two 20 year old sons and they really enjoyed it but limited activities for that age group. No night club - only one bar open after 11pm.
But we had a lot of fun and would love to go back. The beach is gorgeous and the swim up bars are fun.
The best thing is it is all free once you are there -would recommend getting Club status.
And don't forget to visit the Martini Bar - they make awesome cocktails.

This is a great value for money hotel, nice clean rooms, professional and friendly staff always happy to help, and excellent location and very safe to walk around the area and the historical centre. I actually stayed three times during my holiday in Punta Cana as I really enjoyed my stay there in the first place and I am so grateful the reception and reservation departments assisted with my bookings. This was 2nd hotel/resort we stayed during our family trip to Punta Cana. The pools were great, restaurants and dinning exceptional (9+ out of 10) - i still wonder how they manage to give so big variaty of quality food for so many people, some shows/enterntainment in the evening. Ovwrall felt like in high class place.
We had a wonderful stay by this place. We totally enjoyed the hotel and the excursions. And what to say about the meals? Well, it was really good quality. We found a lot of nice places in the Punta Cana but this one surely deserves the number one place.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Great all day cocktails especially the Bloody Mary from Giselda at the beach bar! Best ever tried in a hotel!
