Kamchia Resort Complex, next to the UNESCO-protected nature reserve of the same name, among long-standing dense forests, near the mouth of the river and the beach. Kamchia is a Black Sea resort in Varna district, Avren municipality. It is located 25km south from Varna to the village of Bliznatsi. It has been declared a reserve because of the unique longgous forests along the lower reaches of the Kamchia River, birds, fish and other animal species. The beach is part of the best 12-kilometer beach on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast with well-preserved dunes and various vegetation along them. The strip is wide and the sand is white and fine.
