Maisonette FREA - secluded and different Rozebeke is hidden in a valley, located in the beautiful Flemish Ardennes where bubbling streams, rolling hills and beautiful views are the backdrop for many hiking and cycling opportunities. You will stay in a stylishly renovated maisonette, adjacent to an authentic village villa. Maisonnette FREA treats its guests to a unique experience. The design deliberately opted for durability, aesthetics and class. You have a private entrance with private terrace. The unit has a seating area in which it is wonderful to nest and rest, a fitted kitchen with dining area, a spacious and bright bedroom with a blissful king-sized bed and fresh colorful bathroom. This house with holiday home is the result of a dream, a quest for beauty and connection. When I saw the house I was instantly sold. I had a deep feeling of 'this is where I'm going to be happy'. The house overlooks the quiet village center and is an extension of the 'Cathedral of Rozebeke'. I myself am often surprised how quiet it can be here. My aspiration is to make this place a place of love. Love for yourself, love for the other, love for the silence and nature and where lovers find time for each other.
The Flemish Ardennes are a stone's throw from Ghent. Away from the daily hustle and bustle, time does not force itself on you here. Be touched by its hills, beautiful views and small picturesque villages. Hiking, cycling and mountain biking leave from the door. Information on site. But this is also a region with a rich past. Visit the beautiful cities such as Ronse & Oudenaarde. The Archaeological Park PAM Ename and Velzeke Rozebeke, a place with magic. The intact village center of Rozebeke with its monumental church site was included in 2017 as a protected village view. The village has a mythical history and probably dates back to the early 1100s. The name has nothing to do with the rose as a flower, but comes from the Germanic 'rausa', which means reed, and 'baki', which means stream.
