GREAT is inspiring, spacious and light. The historic, monumental corner building recently underwent a sustainable renovation. It is a combination of 2 houses with 17th century traces and an 18th century building with a stately facade. The eclectic design was matched down to the smallest detail. Our accommodation consists of 2 apartments and 4 rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Our 2 apartments are available for a minimum stay of 2 nights. The 4 rooms are on the ground floor and first floor. GREAT also has two guest-only living spaces that overlooks a quiet town square where you can grab your coffee or tea. Guests live like a local in Ghent.
I am Greetje, interior architect, and welcome you to GREAT! This is a unique place where I like to share my passion for architecture and art with you. I live on the second and third floors. So you have the ideal upstairs neighbor for tips and arrangements for a wonderful stay in the Artevelde City.
GREAT is in a prime location in the historic center of Ghent, the Prinsenhof, the district at the foot of the Castle of the Counts where Emperor Charles V was born. The neighborhood is a haven of peace, 100 meters from the bustling center.
