Situated in the picturesque Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, Wilpena Pound Resort features an on-site restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, convenience store, Visitor Information Centre and a tour desk . Also on-site is the Ikara Safari Camp which offers a luxury camping experience. The restaurant is open 7 days/week, and offers a menu of modern Australian cuisine, focusing on local produce and Indigenous flavours. All air-conditioned rooms at Resort Wilpena Pound feature a private en suite bathroom. Satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a mini refrigerator are provided in all hotel rooms. The Edeowie rooms offer a kitchenette and are suitable for self-catering. The 'glamping' safari tents are air-conditioned and feature ensuite bathrooms, a private deck and a fire pit. Nestled amongst native pines and abundant wildlife, this resort offers an idyllic base to explore the National Park. Barbecue facilities are situated in the native gardens. Guests also have access to laundry facilities. The on-site convenience store sells souvenirs, postcards and essential supplies including groceries, fruit and vegetables, meat, water, liquor, fuel and gas.
