Established in 1850's the Barossa Barn is one of the original properties built in the historic town of Penrice/Angaston and originally used as an ox/horse barn. The B&B outbuilding is a self-contained double story stone cottage situated behind the main building with a separate gated entrance. The quirky features in the cottage gives you the feeling of yesteryear, yet has all the modern conveniences for a comfortable and relaxing stay. **Your stay includes a cooked breakfast voucher per person daily at a local cafe in Angaston (5 minute drive).**

We moved to the Barossa Valley 4 years ago after visiting the region several times, then we started looking for a property to purchase and run a boutique and quirky B&B from. We fell in love with the history, character and location of this property. We are honored to be the custodians of the Barossa Barn. It was named after one of South Australia’s founders, George Fife Angas, who sponsored many of the region’s early German Settlers. Things to do: The Barossa Farmers’ Market is an absolute must-see experience while a gentle stroll down Angaston’s elegant main street will reward you with vibrant cafés, shopping and plenty of lunch or dinner options.
