Surrounded by meadows and forests on the outskirts of Eisenerz, 1.9 mi from the center, Erzberg Alpin Resort offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, a large garden with a children’s playground, and free WiFi access. The modern and spacious apartments were renovated in 2015 and feature a private balcony or garden access, 2 bedrooms, a living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a stylish bathroom. Some have an infrared cabin or a spa bath. All guests of the Alpin Resort Erzberg can enjoy free admission to the Vitalbad Eisenerz Pool or join free guided tours of Eisenerz, available twice a week. The scenic Lake Leopoldstein is 0.9 mi away, and the Abenteuer Erzberg, a mining-related adventure center, is 2.5 mi away. With 26 resorts and nearly 6,000 beds, ALPS Residence is the Austrian market leader for vacations in vacation homes or apartments. As of September 1, 2021, the Tyrolean family business will change its name to ALPS RESORTS. In addition to the opening of ten new resorts, including the vacation resort Inzell, the Austrian market leader ventures with the booming glamping sector the step into a new market segment. Reason enough for the Tyrolean tourism company in the 10th anniversary year to set the tracks for the future and appear under the new name ALPS RESORTS.

Property info

Meals can be booked before arrival (on request) by phone at the reception. From a former residential complex in the Eisenerz Münichtal, located on the outskirts of Eisenerz, the Erzberg Alpin Resort, comprising about 400 vacation apartments, is being built. The special architecture of the houses, the well-kept green spaces and outdoor areas as well as the cozy ambience with impressive views of the surrounding mountains ensure a pleasant stay. The skiing area Präbichl is only about 12 km away and to the cross-country skiing center Eisenerzener Ramsau it is only about 8 km. As a guest of the Alpin Resort Erzberg you receive free admission to the public Vitalbad Eisenerz and also a free guided tour of Eisenerz. In the garden area there is a children's playground. Parking at the hotel is included, subject to availability. WLAN is included in the apartments. The modern and spacious apartments were renovated in 2015!

Nestled in the striking mountain landscape of the Eisenerz Alps, the Erzberg Alpine Resort is located in the small town of Eisenerz, whose origins date back to as early as around 700. The centuries-long history as a mining community at the foot of the "Iron Giant", as the Erzberg is affectionately called, is omnipresent and has shaped tradition and life since time immemorial. The striking Erzberg still has an incredibly high status in the regional economy today : As the largest open pit mine in Europe and the most significant ore deposit in the Alps, the "Styrian loaf of bread" has made a name for itself. Not only because of its striking appearance, but also because of its impressive size, it is often rightly called the "largest pyramid in the world". Just as impressive, multifaceted and spectacular as the Styrian Erzberg itself is the diverse range of experiences on offer in and around Eisenerz, the town at the foot of the "Iron Giant":
