The rooms were big and very clean, but we booked 2 rooms for 5 (3 adults and 2 children) and received 1 triple room and 1 single room and were told a child and an adult can sleep together in one bed. We had to pay extra and get another double room.

The town is an excellent starting point for all nature and hiking lovers. In the vicinity of the town is a beautiful castle – Röthelstein with views on the town and abbey. Also the Gesäuse National Park is near the town.

BEST location- walking distance (less than 10 minutes) to the monestary, grocery shopping, and restaurants. Parking was easy right in front of the hotel. Pool was very nice at full 1.6m with a long sitting bench, so perfect for proper exercise but also relaxation. We ended up utilizing the exercise equipment, which was not originally planned. So fantastic to have all of the amenities options. Everyone was very friendly.
We had a great stay at Hotel Schloss Röthelstein. We visited on our way to Croatia en had an amazing time here. The view was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Next to that, it was one of our friends birthdays and they foresaw something on the room which was a special surprise and nice gesture that made his day.
Overall it was a nice experience and we will come back.
Very well located, in the heart of Admont - with beautiful mountain views. Big and clean apartments with everything you may need. Helpful and friendly owners. Very good and diverse breakfast, additionally there is the fridge with cold drinks + coffee machine in a corridor, to serve yourself. Altogether, great place to stay in Admont, with the very reasonable price :)
The location was quit, which was what we we're looking for, beautiful surroundings very friendly owners. Furniture was excellent and in typical Austrian style.
