Such a beautiful, quiet and very clean hotel. The owner a cool and helpful guy, friendly and welcoming staff. Staff doesn't speak English, but I had fun conversations with the owner. Everything you need is right there. I would definitely recommend and i would definitely be staying here again. Value for money. The owner has cruise and transport/shuttle service options and will organise everything for you. I booked a 6h-day cruise with him and got discount. Check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. You can pay by card (3% fee) or cash. I was able to check-in early without paying extra. You can also leave your bags there if early check-in is not possible. You get a key-card and there is an elevator. The hotel has a coffee shop that serves delicious coffee/tea/drinks and western meals. They have a shop for snacks and you can rent a motorbike (hourly or daily). They have a laundry service payable by kg too. The WIFI was fast and reliable. The room was very spacious with a cupboard, kettle, powerful hairdryer, cups with spoons and glasses supplied. Free water, toilet paper and fresh towels daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, with bedside tables and a lot of power sockets to choose from. A big smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. You can open the windows for fresh air. A little table and chair by the window. Powerful aircon. No mirror in room, only in bathroom. Big shower with natural light and a window. Great water pressure and temperature. Adjustable and removable showerhead. Soap, toothbrush, cotton buds, comb, shampoo supplied. I was there in low season, so it was very quiet, but that is what i wanted. Walking distance from the beach. There are very few restaurants or things to do close by, but the main area with the cable cars, etc. is reachable by foot if you enjoy walking, or just a taxi ride away. There are a lot of grab cars in the area, but not grab bikes. The hotel does not have a rooftop or pool.

Meinen Aufenthalt hier habe ich sehr genossen! Hostelmehrbettzimmer im Hotelstil, hier die perfekte Mischung aus cleaner Atmosphäre und service, aber trotzdem nicht zu anonym. Das Personal achtet sehr auf Sauberkeit, hat mir immer gut weitergeholfen und bietet Touren, Bustickets und Rollervermietung zu angemessenen Preisen an. Der Pool ist ein großes Plus, allerdings ist der Poolbereich etwas klein, es gibt nicht so viele Sitz oder Liegemöglichkeiten. Das Buffet war bei mir inkludiert und hatte eine angemessene Auswahl an warmen und kalten, vietnamesischen und westlichen Speisen (Brot, Suppen, Reis, Früchte etc.). Geschirr und Besteck können die Gäste immer nutzen, super für mitgebrachtes essen!

Die Unterkunft Alex Hostel bietet klimatisierte Zimmer im Bezirk Bai Chay in Hạ Long und liegt 1,2 km von Strand in Bãi Cháy entfernt. The staff were amazing!! We really couldn’t of asked for anything more, we arrived late (early hours in the morning), and the key was left on the desk for us to let ourselves into our room. We were given the choice of which room we’d like to stay in too. Breakfast was amazing, we were even treated to extra fruit! We were helped out with booking a boat tour, and the owner even got us some dinner before we caught our night bus, as we were going to be short on time to have a shower and get food after our tour. We cannot recommend this hostel enough in Halong!
