I loved that there were not shared but few private bathrooms with shower and toilet in it. There were plenty of them so no lines or anything like that. Location is good as well for all main attractions. Very nice touch with free breakfast, super basic yet enough.

Lucia and Robert, the owners, love what they do in life. You feel like you are visiting relatives, that are always opened to hangout with you and show you around. It was the best hostel experience in my life.

Girard Park is 5 minutes’ drive from the hostel. Lafayette Regional Airport is 3 miles away. The location and facilities are amazing. It's a little pricey but that can be mitigated with using their awesome kitchen to prepare your own meals. We were happy to have the opportunity to meet other travelers and chat with the bartender when we stopped by the bar next door. It was all a treat after a tiring semester.

At the accommodation the rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. Definitely get to know the people working at the hostel. Jamal, Meg and everyone else was so cool and always up for hanging out. Spent 2 weeks there and wish I could have spent longer. It’s easy to meet people as well as there is a happy hour every day at 7 with free beer and a chance to hang out with other hostel goers. Definitely will come back again.

And wonderful desk setups in every room! 🙏 We love the long drapes and beautiful white setting decor. The host chance has always been above par.
