Savannah House was a welcoming and calm place to spend our first night in Tanzania! The room was very clean and comfortable and outside area was beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of places to sit and enjoy. The staff were very kind, genuine and accommodating and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. They lit a fire in the fireplace and cooked a delicious, authentic dinner and breakfast!

Our stay here was unforgettable! The hosts were incredibly personal and spent time with us, making us feel like part of their family. They share a deep passion for dancing, and we even got the chance to join a unique dance lesson from their friend. They also recommended other exciting dance activities and lessons in the area. We only stayed one night but truly wished it had been longer. They enthusiastically told us about all the amazing things they could show us, like a coffee tour, a hike to a stunning waterfall, and vibrant Arusha dance parties. Communication was excellent, and the home-cooked meals were incredible—shared together in a cozy, family-style setting. The place itself is gorgeous, eco-friendly, and filled with good vibes. The fact that they built it all themselves and are continually expanding makes it even more special. If you're taking the bus, let them know—they can pick you up, or you can do a half-hour walk to the property. Highly recommend this unique and welcoming spot, Super boombastic!

Osotwa Maasai Hostel ligger i Arusha, 3,7 km från Uhuru monument, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. the beds are heavenly comfortable, the whole hostel feels very homey and welcoming and is very clean. The staff is the absolute best: they invited me to go have dinner with them (which was perfect as I travelled alone) and helped me out a lot with some issues I had with my transfer to nairobi.

Private toilets and shower. Separate hot water tank in the room. Dinner on request if running late from tours etc. All the info about tours/ transfers (contact owner Hillary, he will tell you everything before hand). Fire just outside the bar once it gets dark if you like. Secured site. Solar panel electricity for the lights etc in case if there is a power cut. Asante sana Hillary. Dream big ! ..Good luck :)

I loved the location and the host. Daniel was so much fun to hang out with and showed us around the area. He was also very accomodating of extra friends I met along the way who came to visit.
