I really like how Happiness hostel is very welcoming and feels like home. The beds are the most comfortable in Thailand and it’s just a nice place overall. The location is great and everyone in the surrounding area is just really nice. I’ve already rebooked Happiness Hostel for later in my trip.

Kameralny hotel prowadzony przez rodzinę. Właściciele bardzo pomocni, opiekuńczy, dbają o zadowolenie klientów. W hotelu dostępne zabawki dla dzieci do wzięcia na plażę (piłki, latawce, etc.). Pokój był czysty i codziennie sprzątany, wraz z wymianą ręczników w razie potrzeby. Udostępnia też ręczniki plażowe. Obiekt oferuje wycieczki i transporty w bardzo dobrych cenach, więc warto kupować u nich. W hotelu można bezpośrednio wynająć skuter lub samochód (my korzystaliśmy z samochodu). Gdy nasza córka rozchorowała się podczas pobytu, właściciele byli bardzo troskliwi, dali nam nawet elektrolity, aby wzmocnić organizm. Bardzo, bardzo dziękujemy i polecamy!

Obiekt Garden Beach Bungalows, usytuowany w miejscowości Ko Lanta, oferuje ogród oraz bezpłatny prywatny parking. Odległość ważnych miejsc od obiektu: Plaża Klong Dao Beach – kilka kroków od obiektu. I would have loved to stay more than one night. The tent at the beach was spacious and the bed was super comfy and clean. Not too hot either because there's a small fan in the tent too. It's so beautiful to listen to the waves and fall asleep. Special mention to the owners who were both very welcoming and open to feedback since they had only recently opened this place. Convenient location too, especially if you have a scooter, short drive away from all beautiful beaches.

The accommodation was very clean and the owner was very helpfull. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every second of it! It’s also close to a nice beach with nice restaurants. The location is great (the south of the island has beautiful beaches) and you can rent a scooter easily with the owner. The owner and his family are super kind and we really loved staying here!

The place was just perfect for our stay in Lanta. Very clean, nice balcony, really nice owner, and staff. The owner even got us some pineapple and water melon, while we were waiting for our taxi at departure. Thank you so much, we will be back for sure, if we are on the island again!! Also thank you for organising scooter for us !! 100 percent can recommend this accommodation!

Clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, shops and restaurants right next door, the beach just 2 minutes down the road, a cool view on the mountains, comfy, tons of bookable activities, food to order throughout the day, coffee, tea and popcorn for free all day, a free water dispenser, warm water showers with free shampoo and gel plus towel provided, clean, quiet, social if you're not a complete introvert and is cheap. What more do you need? It has all a backpacker wants

Just a few of my observations during my long stay here, of “travellers on a budget”. AKA; “checking in at a hostel”. Which incidentally, was delightful! The hosts here are amazing and offer help with just about anything and everything their guests need. Within reason!😅 Some people simply forget to leave their sense of entitlement at home. Some want EVERYTHING for free. Some were thankfully kicked out/called out by the owner for their rude and nasty behaviour towards the staff and other guests (hence some of the bad reviews for this property). Some guests audaciously threathened the owners, of leaving bad reviews, if they couldn’t get things their own way. Still, they were “politely” asked to leave by the owners 😅 An Italian woman in her 50’s, behaving like she had a reservation in a 5-star hotel. Demanding this and that. Very rude. She talked to the “staff” (without knowing they are the owners) like they are scum. Another woman in her 50’s, Dutch, huffing and puffing about other hostel guests hanging out/chilling and smoking in the designated “hangout area” (that’s the purpose of that space 🤷‍♀️). Also she complained of the shower room being wet (since it’s a communal shower room where people are in/out, it’s wet 🤷‍♀️) A young Austrian couple in their 30’s, washed their entire laundry in the shower late one evening, despite being asked not to, then hung it all around the hostel, underwear’s and everything for all to see (everyone is briefed on arrival about the water, drawn from a well starting to run dry in dry season, the simple plumbing system of the property and the no-tissue-down-the-toilet etc which they ignored) After being asked to leave, they suggested the manager should learn how to speak to people. A young indian female in her 30’s, complained the water from the dispenser not being chilled, even after being told that she can use the fridge, next to the dispenser.
