Great value, friendly staff, and the room had everything I needed for a night’s stay. Especially loved the hammock and seating area facing the water :)

EVERYTHING!! i stayed here 2,5 it’s the perfect hostel to kick back and relax everybody is so social and there was not one day were i didn’t make a new friend. the staff is so so soo lovely and the cutest woman made our breakfast fresh every morning i would so go back here a thousand times!

Happiness Hostel ligger ved Phra Ae-stranden, 400 m fra Long Beach. Der er fælles opholdsstue, ikkeryger-værelser, gratis wi-fi overalt og bar. I really enjoyed my stay at Happiness Hostel. The beds are spacious and comfortable, ac works well and location is good. The staff is very kind and always available to help. Best thing about the hostel is the resident cat Fatty. He’s a vibe.

Ejeren, Kai, er super sød og behagelig, og hun tog SÅ godt imod os. - Værelset ligger tilbagetrukket fra vejen, så der var roligt - God seng - Små håndklæder til at tørre hænderne - Service samt køleskab og elkedel på værelset - Mulighed for at leje scooter - Tæt på både strand og restauranter Alt i alt et skønt sted, som vi virkelig anbefaler.

Just a few of my observations during my long stay here, of “travellers on a budget”. AKA; “checking in at a hostel”. Which incidentally, was delightful! The hosts here are amazing and offer help with just about anything and everything their guests need. Within reason!😅 Some people simply forget to leave their sense of entitlement at home. Some want EVERYTHING for free. Some were thankfully kicked out/called out by the owner for their rude and nasty behaviour towards the staff and other guests (hence some of the bad reviews for this property). Some guests audaciously threathened the owners, of leaving bad reviews, if they couldn’t get things their own way. Still, they were “politely” asked to leave by the owners 😅 An Italian woman in her 50’s, behaving like she had a reservation in a 5-star hotel. Demanding this and that. Very rude. She talked to the “staff” (without knowing they are the owners) like they are scum. Another woman in her 50’s, Dutch, huffing and puffing about other hostel guests hanging out/chilling and smoking in the designated “hangout area” (that’s the purpose of that space 🤷‍♀️). Also she complained of the shower room being wet (since it’s a communal shower room where people are in/out, it’s wet 🤷‍♀️) A young Austrian couple in their 30’s, washed their entire laundry in the shower late one evening, despite being asked not to, then hung it all around the hostel, underwear’s and everything for all to see (everyone is briefed on arrival about the water, drawn from a well starting to run dry in dry season, the simple plumbing system of the property and the no-tissue-down-the-toilet etc which they ignored) After being asked to leave, they suggested the manager should learn how to speak to people. A young indian female in her 30’s, complained the water from the dispenser not being chilled, even after being told that she can use the fridge, next to the dispenser.

Lanta Hostel ligger i Ko Lanta, 400 m fra Klong Khong Beach, og tilbyder indkvartering med fælles opholdsstue, gratis privat parkering og terrasse. The staff were so lovely and hospitable, great chill out area upstairs where you can smoke on the balcony. Exceptionally clean and tidy, queit and comfortable. If they weren't fully booked I'd be staying here longer

Lanta Chaolay ligger i Ko Lanta, 1,9 km fra Kaw Kwang Beach, og tilbyder indkvartering med aircondition og fælles opholdsstue. The absolute best place to stay in koh Lanta, best dorm I’ve ever stayed in. So comfy, friendliest and best staff ever. Highly recommend.
