Clean, free breakfast, free wifi, staff friendly and speak English. Location is superb! Less than 5 minutes walk to bus station. Can catch bus to white temple from station for 25 thb. Lots of restaurants around. Walking distance to markets! Dorm rooms were spacious with curtains and outlets to charge in bed area. Very affordable! Great value!

BED Friends Poshtel is situated in Chiang Rai, 1.6 km from Statue of King Mengrai and 2.9 km from Central Plaza ChiangRai. This was my first time staying at a hostel, so I was a little apprehensive. But the moment I reached Bed Friends Poshtel, all my worries were gone. The staff were so helpful and nice. Front desk people are pretty fluent in English, so no communication issues. The other staff are also very helpful. The location was great, only a few minutes walk from the old bus station and the night market. The clock tower is also at an walking distance . There are many restaurants nearby, along with a great tea shop (if that's your thing)and many coffee shops, cocktail bars and weed shops. It's perfect for introverts who want an affordable accommodation while keeping their privacy. Everything was neat and clean, and the staff will immediately take care of things if you have any complaints. I highly recommend it, and will definitely stay here when I visit Chiang Rai again.
