Situated in Chiang Rai, 400 metres from Statue of King Mengrai, Baan Mai Kradan Hostel Chiang Rai features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The beds were very comfy and the blanket was very fluffy. I slept very well. The bathrooms are very clean and for some reason never really busy. There was always a shower or toilet free when needed. Breakfast was ok!

Wish we could have stayed here longer. It was outstanding experience! It is on the level of hotel. We had one room with very comfortable king bed. The room was spotless, we received complementary food, tooth brush and other essentials every day. You can have coffee etc. in the kitchen, too. It included self-service breakfast (eggs, toasts, sausages, jam, coffee etc). There is a gym, common space area with board games, billiard. You can rent a bike vis Mercy hotel (B-rider which is reliable and rhe best rental company). The location is excellent and quit. Actually, the whole place is quit and they keep it quiet after 10 pm. Last but not least, the staff was genuinely so kind and helpful. If we ever visit it again, we will stay here. Thank you so much for making our time in Chiang Mai so great.

It was certainly the best accommodation we've had so far on our long trip through Thailand. The space is comfortable, clean, has everything we need for 3 days. It is well located, the accommodation offers free bicycles, the host is very friendly, always available and does everything to welcome us and make us feel at home! She shared tips on what to do in Chiang Rai! We went on a tour that the accommodation offered us, and it was great, we saw the city's main attractions! We really recommend it!

Located in Chiang Rai, 700 metres from Statue of King Mengrai, Social Garden Hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Everyone working there was wonderful, except when those bastards beat us at beer pong! How dare they 😉 The place is spacious, beds are comfi and there are fun activities. They set up a scooter to be delivered at the hostel for me and gave me great advice on where to go and what to see. Awesome place, incredible value! Ps. Number 17 in Bingo still has me smiling. Clean, free breakfast, free wifi, staff friendly and speak English. Location is superb! Less than 5 minutes walk to bus station. Can catch bus to white temple from station for 25 thb. Lots of restaurants around. Walking distance to markets! Dorm rooms were spacious with curtains and outlets to charge in bed area. Very affordable! Great value!
