Lovely setting a few steps away from the Skocjan Caves. My husband and I arrived on bicycles and were to happy to be able to eat dinner and breakfast the next morning here as the neared big restaurant is 7km away. Jure, our host, made an amazing dinner for us and Paula made an amazing breakfast the next morning. (Dinner and breakfast are not included in the price of the room). The hostel also has a fully stocked bar so we were able to enjoy a cold beer after a long, hot day.

Set in the heart of Izola Old Town, Hostel Alieti offers free WiFi and air-conditioned rooms. A shared terrace and a common kitchen are at guests' disposal. The hostel is great, one of the bests I've been. I felt like home, rooms are nice and beds are super comfy and the kitchen is my favorite! It has everything that you might need for cooking and even more. Thank you so much!

Hostel Xaxid is a restored Istrian house in a peaceful countryside location in Zazid, 20 km from Koper. It offers free WiFi, a fully equipped private kitchens, and a shared terrace. The place is a bit difficut to find/reach, but once you are there the environment compensates you. Dusan and his wife are wonderful and friendly people. The hostel is not luxurious, however the price/value ratio is perfect. The village is far from the busy cities, is very quiet, however should you decide to go to a restaurant you may find it within 7 kms. Alltogether I definitely recommend both the place and the owners.

The room was big, with a lot of light and a nice city view. It has all the amenities for a short stay: a kitchenette with an electric kettle, small fridge, some dishes to cook and eat from, necessary furniture to store your things, and even a clothes drying rack. It's a walkable distance from a train/bus station, and some 10-15 minutes from the city beach. The guys at the reception were very friendly, they shared the information about the city and good recommendations for the restaurants, and made me feel really welcome. There is a bistro in the hostel where you can get a breakfast and/or lunch, and Spar supermarket just around the corner.

Situated in Spodnje Škofije, 13 km from San Giusto Castle, Guesthouse Škofije ob Parenzani features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very friendly and polite owner, she accommodated us even late in the evening and answered all our questions about Slovenian road trips. Also room was clean and comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were stuffed well, a lot of space and beautiful terrace.

Set in Portorož, 1.1 km from Terme Portoroz and 700 metres from the Portoroz centre, Hostel Soline boasts a sun terrace and views of the sea. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Lovely, modern, quiet, and very clean hostel. Friendly and informative host. Has both shared and privacy single toilets and showers. Really enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend it!

Hostel Panorama Portorož is located on top of a hill, in a quiet part of Portorož, and offers unique views of the surroundings. Very nice hotel in a calm place with beautiful panoramatic view over the bay and the city, exceptional breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and big rooms, beautiful garden, simply unforgettable!

Hostel Museum ligger midt i Koper sentrum, 150 meter fra en småsteinstrand med steinbelegg, og tilbyr en hage med terrasse og gratis bruk av grillutstyr. Clean and modern room, feels very comfortable. The shared bathroom was kept very clean. Friendly staff, easy check in. Central location, easily walking distance to the beach, restaurant, grocery store.
