I truly have nothing but good things to say about this hostel and the host Margarida. The place is super lovely, welcoming, clean, and spacious. Lots of equipment for example in the kitchen, nice location with mountain view. And Margarida is super nice, helpful and just a very decent person who even helped me when I got sick and needed medicine.

Pousada de Juventude da Serra da Estrela is inserted in the scenic area of Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The unit is just 10 km from the nearest ski resort. I had great experience during my stay there. I got very clean and warm room with private bathroom. I got same facilities like star hotel although I booked just for four bunk bed male dormitory. Breakfast was excellent. I will again stay there with group of my friends in future.

Easy and quick check in and check out! Lovely stay in a great area near the walks in the mountains. Very confortable and big spaces in the building! Definitely a place to come back! Obrigado!

Situated in Covilhã and with Parque Natural Serra da Estrela reachable within 18 km, Covilhã Hostel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. good value for money, definitely the cheapest option on offer when I visited. it’s a family run building, and Joao was kind enough to pick me up at the bus station with his car! it’s conveniently located, you can walk everywhere, nice view of the city from my room, a big kitchen to cook meals and decent bathroom. Cozy room with lots of natural lights, mattress is not the best but the towels were the softest :)
