I loved everything about Casa Portuguesa - a very beautiful house, extremely stylish decorated, great attention to detail, very cozy atmosphere! The rooms, the amazing swimming pool, the lounge and breakfast room, the garden and the jacuzzi - everything was amazing! The breakfast was delicious, and the new facilities were well-maintained and comfortable. Plus, the location was perfect, making it a great choice overall.

Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. The most wonderful people in a magical place. Stefan and Pedro have special places in my heart for the rest of time (and Lena and Sophie too!!) They have created an intentionally caring environment where you instantly feel at home. Something I haven't felt in a long time. It's contagious among the other travellers and it was a place we wanted to hang out at after the days of exploring. Always say yes the Stefan's pancakes and the family dinners at night- better than any restaurant on the island. Who knows, maybe you will even get a surprise birthday tiramisu and have 30th bday memories for the rest of your life🥰🥰🥰
