Very friendly staff. I forgot my hiking shoes there at the balcony, but the staff at this place went the extra mile and sent them to my address in Norway. Much appreciated.

We loved our stay at Hostel da Palmeira! Everything was amazing. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom and it was very clean and very well equipped. The staff is incredibly friendly and super helpful and they have an easy to follow late check-in process which is great. Overall very good place to stay for a great value with a simple breakfast included. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Zajtrk je bil neverjeten, prav tako hrana iz taverne, vse pa postreženo v idiličnem vrtu z mačko in račko. Presegli so najina pričakovanja.

Very clean and modern rooms, and especially: quiet ones. We were afraid as it was called a "hostel" but it is very private, and the "hostel" part is the community kitchen, which actually had an amazing effect on the community. We really enjoyed staying. We could shade the room properly, and the bed is an actual queen bed. Staff was amazingly kind, speaking proper English. I highly recommend for everyone if you are looking for a peaceful stay in Ponta Delgada.

Staff is caring even before you arrive by asking your flight updates and giving you an headsup on the weather. Room were cleaned daily and all the structure is super new! Breakfast includes exclusively local products and the beer biscuits that they use to bake are just unbelievable. Will come back for sure!

Loved Our Stay at Loving Strangers Hostel! We had such a great time staying at Loving Strangers Hostel! Stefan, the owner, was super friendly and made us feel right at home from the start. He gave us a tour of the hostel and even the area around it, plus he made us breakfast every morning and took care of anything we needed. It really felt like staying with a friend! We stayed in the Musicians Room, and it was awesome. The decor was cool, the bed was super comfy, and everything was super clean. We honestly didn’t want to leave! We’re definitely coming back next time we’re in town. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy and welcoming vibe.

The hostel is very new and well organised. The whole place is very clean. Rooms are big enough to have plenty of privacy even in the dorm rooms. Breakfast is very good and there is very nice patio garden in the back. Ines (contact person) was very friendly and willing to help. There is not enough good words I can say about this place.
