Hostel Bajala Siargao features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in General Luna. This place is genuinely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s GORGEOUS and so comfortable and clean. The mattress is so deep and comfortable, they offer you a thick duvet and a thin blanket to choose. The room is perfectly cool throughout the night and the entire room is big and very clean. Stunning bathrooms too! The pool area is beautiful, it lights up at night and looks stunning. The dorms look like hotel rooms, they’re stunning. The staff are nice enough! A super comfy cinema room where you can choose what you watch and we all hung out in each night. Free beer or soft drink everyday (5:30pm-7pm) Out from the main area but a much more local spot and the drive from the main tourist area is so easy and really pretty. Also, right on the beach! You can swim in the sea and it’s super quiet, also really pretty entrance with the palm trees. If you’re looking to meet loads of people maybe choose a more social place but I still met some good friends and I wanted somewhere to chill. Amazing shared kitchen too. Couldn’t recommend more.

I've been Katrefied. Self check-in is superb and very easy to do. Bunk bed is super comfortable will lull you to sleep fast. Very near the beach. Katre is home away from home.

What I love most about this place is how homey it feels. As a solo traveler, it’s easy to meet people here, and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Even though I was initially shy, others were quick to reach out. They also have a group chat where you can connect and ask questions, plus they organize potlucks and family dinners every so often. The people are friendly, making it an ideal spot for a solo traveler like me.

Everything-From the rooms to the food choices. Despite coming during the electricity fluctuations in the island and dealing with scheduled use of power/generator, I loved the place. I was able to rest well.

The caretaker with 2 children (I forgot her name) was very accommodating and very helpful. She gave us recommendations during our stay on what to do and where to go. The hostel was very clean too esp in the common area.

Situated in General Luna, 1.4 km from General Luna Beach, Hiraya Surf Hostel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. As a solo traveler, I appreciated how much people I have met through this hostel, the vibes were giving Family. It was very social compared to other hostels I've been to. I cannot recommend it enough
