I stayed here for more than a week, and I would definitely return or recommend others to stay at the best hostel I had ever stayed in the world. The facilities including the restrooms are beautifully designed and regularly cleaned (I saw cleaning even at 12 AM and 6 AM), and the location is unbeatable being next to the Orion supermarket, San Pedro market hall, Plaza San Francisco and many bus stops. The staff is incredibly kind, the coffee is the best in Cusco, and the dorm bed is well designed (like a massive personal locker and a bedside niche to fit many personal items). I can go on and on about how much thought and care the hostel management has put into this establishment, but I think it's better if you just see for yourself, because whatever your expectation is, Black Llama will exceed that expectations.

The hosts -Ester and Freddy -are the coolest ones ever! They took a great care of us - cooked us delicious food, showed us how they harvest coffee beans and fresh avocado. The rooms were super cozy and comfortable, and spotless clean! Definitelly recommended to stay here with them!

Terletak di Santa Teresa, 36 km dari Huayna Picchu, Salkantay Hostel Chaullay menawarkan pemandangan taman. Really nice property with great views. Hot shower after a long day of hiking. Dinner and breakfast was good and filling. We were doing Salkantay without a guide and the friendly host offered us some helpful advice.

I really liked that the beds in the dorm had their own curtains which made it feel really private and cosy, also inside there are little shelves which was a nice touch. The place was really clean and everyone was so friendly, especially the owner who was really kind, he gave me some good advice on what to do around pisac and he even helped me learn some Spanish. I would definitely recommend staying here and I would definitely go back :)

We loved our stay with Romulo and Helga (and their cute pets). When we arrived from a night bus, they welcomed us straight into the kitchen and made us a delicious (complimentary) breakfast. So kind. Our room wasn’t quite ready but they allowed us to shower and rest in another room until it was - this was much before the check in time so we were really grateful for this too. The house is a little out of town but we really liked that about it. It seems far in a taxi (only 10-15 soles though) but walking the Inca trail only takes about 15-20 minutes. The house is right next to Inca ruins and Romulo took us on a walk to show us the main sights, he also gave us so much information about the local area. Helga and Romulo make a great breakfast and they put a hot water bottle in our bed every evening. Also, my laptop broke whilst I was there and they got me in touch with someone to fix it. They are wonderful hosts and we would more than happily stay here again.
