The best hostel so far regarding staff hospitality and kindness. The installations were clean, and the breakfest was simple and nice.

Well located in the Historical Center district of Arequipa, Hostel Fuentes is located 1.4 km from Umacollo Stadium, less than 1 km from Melgar Stadium and 2.6 km from Yanahuara Church. Great value for money, the double room was huge, and bed super comfortable! Hot showers. Simple kitchen with everything we needed to cook our own meals. Easy walk from the main square. The host was lovely and gave us tips on how to go to the Colca Canyon. Would stay again!

Price was excellent for a room with everything I need. Basic, but that is all I needed. The staff were very nice and helpful. When it came to transportation to and from the airport they not only knew/recommended trusted services, they also made sure to look after you and ensure that drivers gave a solid/agreed upon price. The latter part is something I rarely see hotel owners/operators do. Highly recommended. The location was also great and one can easily walk to the Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Francisco, and great restaurants like Chicha and Victoria Picanteria within 10 minutes or so.

Boasting a terrace and a bar, Econunay Hostels is situated in Arequipa, less than 1 km from Umacollo Stadium and 1.9 km from Yanahuara Church. We loved our stay here and kept extending because I was sick. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They constantly cleaned, had some fun events, etc.

Only 50 metres from the Plaza de Armas, at the second floor of a colonial house, Mango Hostel B&B offers accommodations in Arequipa. Great location, very central and felt safe. Staff were really kind- they let us crash out in a common area when we arrived at 5am and swapped out breakfasts around so that we could have one that day because we were going to miss one when we left on another early bus at the end of our stay. Laundry was super fast and cheap. Breakfast was the best I have had in Peru. The rooftop area has a cafe (a good one) but no obligation to buy anything if you just want to hang out. They sell beer and water at a good price at the front desk. Shower was HOT in the evening and morning. Beautiful old building. Lots of places to hang our stuff.
