Conveniently situated in the Bella Vista district of Panama City, Blu Hostel is located 7.8 km from Bridge of the Americas, 8.1 km from Ancon Hill and 8.6 km from Rod Carew National Stadium. Blu Hostel is highly recommended. We booked a room with a self-contained kitchen and private bathroom, which suited our needs perfectly. The little kitchen had a full gas stove (and oven), fridge/freezer, sink, basic pots, pan, crockery, and cutlery so perfect to make small meals in the room. The bathroom (shower, toilet, and sink) is small and clean with towels included. The air conditioner works very well in the room as Panama is consistently hot and humid. The Blu Hostel staff are friendly and helpful, and all speak English which helps a lot. The hostel location is perfect in terms of numerous supermarkets, restaurants, copy shops, medical offices, and much more. It is also within walking distance to a subway station, bus routes, taxis and Ubers. The hostel has a 'no noise' policy for evenings so that everyone is able to get a good night's rest in the comfort of their rooms. The hostel offers a reliable drop-wash-dry laundry service ($6 per big load) which normally takes day and a half. The hostel offers different types of rooms etc to suit different traveler needs. The hostel staff leaves you be and ask when you would like cleaning or any assistance. The hostel offers free basement parking but please bear in mind that some pick-ups/cars may not fit the height restrictions. The hostel front entrance and parking is always locked to ensure safety for all guests.

Featuring a garden, a shared lounge as well as a terrace, Bodhi Panama City is located in the centre of Panama City, 7.8 km from Bridge of the Americas. Nice hostel in a quiet location with a pool, perfect place to start your trip in Panama. Staff were friendly and helpful and helped me chase up my delayed baggage. I stayed in the dorm, which had lockers. Bathroom was a little rundown but ok. No hot water in showers but Panama is hot so it was ok. Great breakfast included in your stay.

Attractively set in Panama City, CulturaHumana Guesthouse features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden. Looks like adapted old luxury villa - we got big (triple) room with separate closet room and huge bathroom with ancient bathtub. Patio with small swimming pool (water did not look very clean, though), public kitchen. Everything safe, fenced around. Good WiFi. Surprisingly convenient place, also quiet, located in small side street. Several food places (Subway, Burger King, chinese fast food) in the parallel street. About 5km (uber 3-4 USD) to old town, 10km to Miraflores Center at Panama Channel.

Casa Areka features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Panama City. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The best host we ever had. They helped us with everything we asked for. Great stay. Big room with a fan and air-conditioning. Tasty DIY breakfast:)

Located in the Marbella district in Panama City, 3 km from Canal Museum of Panama, El Machico Hostel boasts a swimming pool and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything! I'm not sure why this place is receiving such luke warm reviews. It's a really nice hostel, the staff is really helpful, it's super clean, the rooms are very quiet and comfortable , the bathrooms are really nice, big and plenty, huge well stocked kitchen, and the fastest laundry service I've seen in a while. The pool is really nice and in general it has a really nice chill laid-back vibe and is in a super nice neighbourhood. It's actually a lot nicer looking than the pictures. I slept like a baby over here. Possibly the most undisturbed sleep that I've had in a full dorm room in 4 months of travelling. That itself makes this a full 10 for me. I also lucked out with having only super nice and sociable guests there during my stay. Also, best hostel coffee to boot. I honestly would've extended for a couple of days if I didn't have a flight pre booked.

Located in Panama City, 3.1 km from Bridge of the Americas, Canal Inn B&B Panama provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The location is pretty good, near the university of navy, the safe guard is pretty high. What’s more the boss and the staff is pretty nice. We can cook by ourselves, that’s perfect.
