Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. This was my fourth stay at this hotel. Hotel has hot water unlike many in Central America. Beds were comfortable. WII was decent in room. There is a shared balcony on each floor with a couple plastic chairs. The employees are great. They have always been very helpful. One of the receptioist has decent English language skills. Her English has improved since my first stay. If you turn left as you exit hotel, there is a minimart just past the first cross street. Or turn right at this same cross street (after turning left as you departed hotel) and follow this street. You will arrive at Via Espana near several (maybe 10) different restaurants. Or, turn left at this same cross street, and you are only 1 short block from Via Argentina.

The hostel offers a barbecue. Very friendly. Staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean, showers were clean, access to a kitchen, fridge, pool and lounge areas. Amazing experience.

At the hostel, each room comes with a wardrobe. Complete with a private bathroom, guest rooms at Hostal Amador Familiar are equipped with air conditioning, and selected rooms come with a seating area. At the accommodation each room is fitted with bed linen and towels. It's super close to the airport which is the main reason for booking it. Also we love that it was family run and operated. They helped us with all of our questions and concerns! We got in late and they directed us to a nearby store to get food and Sim cards to save money. The air-conditioning was great in the room and much needed after a few hit nights.

Free private parking is available on site. Everything! I'm not sure why this place is receiving such luke warm reviews. It's a really nice hostel, the staff is really helpful, it's super clean, the rooms are very quiet and comfortable , the bathrooms are really nice, big and plenty, huge well stocked kitchen, and the fastest laundry service I've seen in a while. The pool is really nice and in general it has a really nice chill laid-back vibe and is in a super nice neighbourhood. It's actually a lot nicer looking than the pictures. I slept like a baby over here. Possibly the most undisturbed sleep that I've had in a full dorm room in 4 months of travelling. That itself makes this a full 10 for me. I also lucked out with having only super nice and sociable guests there during my stay. Also, best hostel coffee to boot. I honestly would've extended for a couple of days if I didn't have a flight pre booked.
