Great rural alternative if you don't want to stay right in the tourist center of Valle Anton. We booked three nights and could not have been happier! The host family was really an example of panamanian hospitality, they looked after us for trips, gave us tips, and even a small tour around the neighborhood. Very sweet people. Auxi, the host, is an English teacher, so you will have no problems with communication. We loved the stay as it gave us an idea of rural panamanian life and access to more hidden spots to visit (including the 'Pozo azul', which you need to go to). Recommend!

Bodhi Hostel & Lounge is located in El Valle and features free WiFi access in all areas, a garden and barbecue facilities. Free parking is available. Very friendly staff. Was happy they helped me watch the UEFL match while I was there. Grateful for the easy access, where I can just ask the minibus to drop me off exactly at the hostel. Quite close to all the hikes and very cool place to chill around.

Situated in El Valle, Hostal Lopez El Valle Cabañas has a garden, shared lounge, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. We loved staying here so much that we kept coming back. The garden was lovely (we saw a sloth, armadillo and some lovely birds there) and the studios were large enough to accommodate our toddler and ourselves very comfortably. They provide coffee, shampoo and soap and can supplement this if needed. Beds are great and the hot water was fixed during our first days there which really added value because of El Valle's fresh climate. Whenever we had a question or request the managers were always super quick and happy to help. We will definitely be coming back again! Gracias por todo!
