Great rural alternative if you don't want to stay right in the tourist center of Valle Anton. We booked three nights and could not have been happier! The host family was really an example of panamanian hospitality, they looked after us for trips, gave us tips, and even a small tour around the neighborhood. Very sweet people. Auxi, the host, is an English teacher, so you will have no problems with communication. We loved the stay as it gave us an idea of rural panamanian life and access to more hidden spots to visit (including the 'Pozo azul', which you need to go to). Recommend!

Bodhi Hostel & Lounge is located in El Valle and features free WiFi access in all areas, a garden and barbecue facilities. Free parking is available. I stayed 3 weeks in Panama and this was the best hostel for sure. Clean, nice vibe, a lot of activities (free hikes etc), comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, nice staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful backyard, good location.

Set in Penonomé, Hostal familiar Villa Nome offers a shared lounge. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I have the greatest experience I could imagine. Very helpful and super nice lady. She did her best and more for us. The room was spacious and clean. So was the bathroom.

Great place and very quiet. We spent only one night but it worth to stay at this place. Easy to park the car next to the hostal gate

Larissa goes out of her way to help you. she is fluent in English and knows the area. She keeps everything clean and she makes you feel at home.

Shops are nearby and there are also bikes available. By far the best place to stay in Valle de Anton.
