Helpful friendly staff. Clean facilities and plenty to do with the games shed, fireplace, bbq, hot tub and lounge room.

Barnyard Backpackers Te Anau offers accommodation on spacious grounds with spectacular mountain views. Free WiFi and private on site parking is available. Stayed in the 6 bed dorm which was really nice. The common areas were also well maintained. The views were absolutely breathtaking

The staff was awesome, so helpful and willing to share their knowledge about the surrounding areas. Everything was nice and clean! Would stay again.

This stay was exactly what we needed after a long hike. All the facilities worked as they should. A very cozy, retro property that has plenty of charm. We really enjoyed our stay here, and Nathan was extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place.
