Tahuna Pod Hostel is located in the heart of Queenstown and features and a large balcony area with stunning views over the city. Limited on-site car parking is available for a fee. Everywhere was clean and the pods were comfortable. The kitchen and lounge area was very pleasant. Most notable for me was the help Alberto and Holly gave me in two crises: (1) each pod has a dedicated locker for which you provide your own padlock. My cheap combination padlock wouldn't open, despite a lot of jiggling. Alberto opened it with pliers in seconds! (2) I asked if I could leave my car in the car park for a couple of hours when I was leaving.. when I returned, it wouldn't start. Holly gave me a jump-start - encouraging me to continue after I'd convinced myself it wasn't working - which saved me a lot of hassle! So thanks both of you :)

The best hostel I've ever stayed! :) I'm a solo traveler and stayed in different hostels in different countries all around the world. This one I could range as exceeded my expectations! It is located in the city centre, near the beautiful Wakatipu lake, so all attractions, shops, restaurants & bars are reachable in a few minutes. I stayed in a dormain room and shared it with other 3 guests, the most nicest thing was that the room was large with shelves and hangers to put your own stuff and we had our own shower room. Fantastic! Very large kitchen/dinning room with a spectacular view to the lake, just a good vibe to drink your coffee and enjoy the view. The staff were very kind and helpful. The hostel suggests many services including tours, usage of washing/drying machines and etc. Highly recommended!

The Brownston Hostel heeft een terras, en is gelegen in Wanaka in de regio Otago, op 2,5 km van Puzzling World en 1,9 km van The Wanaka Tree. Amazing location, loads of free parking nearby and right in the centre of town. Huge kitchen and a few different common areas. Lovely balcony for an evening drink. We had to extend our stay as the road to Franz Josef was closed and it was no problem. Actually really glad we changed our plans as we loved Wanaka

Adventure Wanaka Hostel is gelegen in Wanaka, op 2,3 km van Puzzling World, en biedt kamers met airconditioning en een tuin. De accommodatie ligt op 1,9 km van The Wanaka Tree en biedt een barbecue. Beste keuken die ik Totnutoe heb gehad. Goede potten en pannen en messen en ‘s avonds om 11 uur ging de keuken dicht en werd helemaal schoon gemaakt. Geweldig!

UpTown Backpackers is goed gelegen in het centrum van Dunedin, en biedt een gedeelde lounge en gratis WiFi. Us four girls stayed in a dorm of 4 and the beds were so comfy, the duvets were fluffy and the pillows were comfy. Forgot our towels but they were only $2 to hire and staff we really friendly! 100% would stay here again as great value for money, great location and quiet considering we were right in the centre.

Travel Stay City Hostel is gelegen in Dunedin, op 14 minuten lopen van Taieri Gorge Railway, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Very cozy and nice place, stayed for Christmas and absolutely loved it. Quiet place but short walk to city center. Staff was very friendly. Nice and tidy kitchen, common room and bathrooms. The room itself was also very comfortable. Not very soundproof but didn’t bother me. Would definitely stay again!

Work Stay at 123 ligt in Dunedin, op 14 minuten lopen van Taieri Gorge Railway, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Mooie kamer, goed uitzicht, goed bed, eigen koelkast, magnetron en waterkoker en servies en bestek. Goede locatie en privé parkeerplaats was goed geregeld. Grote en schone keuken (goed voorzien van alle materialen) die gebruikt kan worden. Wassen voor de schappelijke prijs van 1 dollar. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk.
