And I LOVED it! I had some cell phone SIM card problems (my own mistakes), but there was good WiFi on the property and the people on premises were so kind and Although I had rented an e-bike to get myself back and forth to the Beach and beyond (traveling solo), I found the walk to the beach my first day, a lovely and not too difficult 15 minute walk!

Featuring a TV lounge and a communal kitchen, Haka House Auckland City is just 10 minutes’ walk from the famous Sky Tower. Location is great. Rooms are modern and bunks have curtains for privacy. Windows can be opened for fresh air. Bathrooms are nice and showers are excellent.
