The Gjestehuset is not in the center but with a short 20-25min walk, you can easily get there. The airport bus goes directly to the location and you can see the beautiful glaciers in the back. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a good way to start the day - fresh waffles each morning!

The staff was excellent! They gave us a bigger room because we were with a child, but they didn't charge for a room upgrade. Rooms are clean, hot in the rooms. The breakfast is very good! We checked out of the hostel at 5 am. All those who flew with us on this flight, the hostel staff made breakfast for us. Although according to the rules breakfast starts at 7 am. Thanks to the staff for the best service! I would also like to say that every evening at 18.00 and 18.30 a bus leaves from the Raddison Hotel to Coal Miners Cabins. This is very convenient, because in the evening when a person is tired, there is an opportunity to get to the hostel for free.
