Convenient to the city as well as forms of transportation as it is part of the train and bus station. However, it is very quiet. Rooms are what one would expect for Europe, but still very comfortable. If you come to Lillehammer, stay here.

Basecamp Frich`s Hjerkinn features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Hjerkinn. Guests can make use of a bar. We liked the clean, spacious rooms and the comfy beds. Also the shared bathroom facilities are great, more than enough, and super clean. Breakfast was very extensive and delicious: bread, eggs, yoghurt, cereals,pancakes, fruit, cheese, meet, fish and some local specialties. Staff is super helpful and friendly. And the location is great, close to the trails to explore the area. Totally recommended, we would definitely stay here again!
