Situated in Las Peñitas, a few steps from Las Peñitas Beach, Casita de Playa BOMALU features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Bomalu was just what we needed to disconnect and relax. Staff was super friendly and attentive at all times. Room was comfy and neat. We didn’t have to leave the property in our stay since the place has a nice restaurant with great food and honest prices. Sunset in a hammock with a nice Margarita. Can’t beat that!

Perfect hostel to stay in Leon, but the real Plus was the staff! Especially Mayerling at the reception, was so helpfull for me and my friends! Helps us to book excursions, bus and also help us to plan the next days around Nicaragua, I would completely recommend it!

The location was great, very centric. The place itself is charming, has a very homely vibe with the pool, the fountain and lounge area with a hammock and coffee tables. The room was spacious, clean, and had A/C. The bed was comfortable and big. The staff were very attentive. They cook breakfast for you every morning with a nice cup of coffee, and you just feel like you're staying at a relative's home. We were an LGBT couple travelling and we felt very welcome. It was very quiet and it was great to rest for a few days while enjoying the city of Leon. We paid about 45$ per night in a double room with AC including the 17% tax (we had not picked this up from the Booking breakdown and it was an unpleasant surprise), which I think is still good value.
